Engage with our Students

Professors talk to student about his senior design project poster.

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences offers a number of ways in which companies can engage with our students.

Our Experiential Learning Programs allow our students to “engineer today" in order to expand their technical competence and prepare for future careers. They also provide opportunities for our industry partners to recruit and interact with prospective employees, and utilize engineering student talent to help solve problems.

  • Engineering Intramurals
    3/2/22
We invite industry partners to submit ideas for engineering intramural projects, which are problem-based engineering activities intended to provide students with real world learning experience.
  • Internships and Co-ops
    2/8/21
Our students can earn academic credit for internships as well as co-ops. Learn how to hire UB student interns and co-ops.
  • Senior Design
    3/14/23
Every senior must take a senior design capstone class in which students work on multidisciplinary design teams to complete semester-long design projects. Companies can sponsor senior design projects either through our Engineering Partnerships Program, or directly.
