Ensuring a Safe and Respectful Environment

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences does not tolerate harassment, discrimination or mistreatment in any form. SEAS recommends you report unprofessional or inappropriate behavior that you experience or witness to ensure a safe environment for teaching, learning and research.

Retaliation against anyone who reports discrimination, participates or assists in an investigation, or opposes a discriminatory act, practice, or policy is unlawful and is prohibited.

How to Report or Request Support

You deserve to work and learn in an environment free of harm. If you are a student, you may report or share concerns with the chair of your department or director of your program.  If you are a faculty or staff member, you may report or share concerns with your supervisor or another person in your department or office.

If you prefer to contact someone outside of your department or office, you may contact the SEAS Office of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion confidentially or anonymously using the link below.

In Case of an Emergency

If you feel you are being threatened or are in danger, or you witness someone else being threatened or in danger, immediately contact the University Police at (716) 645-2222.
