From our founding as an engineering school in 1946, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences builds upon its proud legacy of excellent educational programs and world-class research.
It is an exciting time to be a part of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences! We are experiencing unprecedented growth in all areas, making it hard to keep up the pace! Our faculty has grown to over 275, and we have over 7,500 students across our nine departments. Our research portfolio continues to grow at record pace, and now totals over $100 million in expenditures.
The SEAS Partnership Program strengthens the school’s relationships with local and national companies, both for their benefit and the benefit of our students and their employment futures.
New York State prides itself in the high quality of its licensed and certified professionals. For the protection of its citizens, each license and certificate has requirements that individuals must meet in order to be licensed or certified in New York State.
