Graduate Student Scholarships, Fellowships and Awards

Scholarships and fellowships are available to support graduate students who have exceptional academic records and potential.

You can visit the portal and submit a general application at any time, which may qualify you for current and future opportunities offered by SEAS and the university. Please make sure you answer all questions fully to give yourself the best chance at qualifying for a scholarship. Some scholarships require applicants to complete additional scholarship-specific questions. Check the portal regularly to review scholarship deadlines and requirements. The list below shows the scholarships typically available through SEAS. 

Teaching Assistantships

  • Provide instructional support for undergraduate courses (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
  • Benefits: stipend plus full tuition scholarship
  • Funded through department instructional budget allocation
     

Research Assistantships

  • Provide support for research grant (approximately 20 hours per week)
  • Benefits: stipend plus full tuition scholarship
  • Funded by the Principal Investigator of a research project
