Dr. Guan is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) at The State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo). He received his Ph.D. in Communication and Information Systems from Shandong University in China in 2010. Dr. Guan was a visiting Ph.D. student with the Department of EE, SUNY Buffalo, from 2009 to 2010. He also worked at UB as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 2012 to 2015. After that, he worked as an Associate Research Scientist with the Department of ECE at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, from 2015 to 2018. He directs the Wireless Intelligent Networkingand Security (WINGS) Lab at SUNY Buffalo, with research interests in modeling, control, and system design toward next-generation, intelligent and secure wireless networking.
