The UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Office of Academic Affairs works closely with the university’s Office of Admissions to review the applications of first-year students applying to any of our undergraduate engineering and applied sciences majors.

Admission to engineering or computer science major requires the following:

UB students in academic good standing may be considered for admission to our intended engineering or applied science majors.

SEAS students may be considered for admission to other undergraduate engineering or applied science majors within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

UB students in academic good standing may be considered for admission to any of our undergraduate engineering or applied science majors.

For undergraduate students who were previously enrolled within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences as approved majors and seek to reenter must apply for readmission.

The University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the School of Management offer a five-year program leading to a combined bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in Business Administration.

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences currently offers minors in various subjects. These provide a nice means to complement a major degree program.

SEAS students can choose to double major, minor in math, or combine their degree with a number of other university programs.
