Education: BA in Spanish and BA in Political Science, University at Buffalo; PhD in Foreign and Second Language Education, University at Buffalo

Academic path: Influenced by my undergraduate studies in Spanish and a year of living abroad in Tunis, Tunisia and Granada, Spain, I began my professional career teaching English as a New Language while also working as a teacher-educator for pre-service and novice language instructors.  I then began working at Niagara University, overseeing their English language programs and support services for international students and working as an F-1 advisor before transitioning to my position in SEAS.  I really enjoy working with students in all settings – classroom or individual advising – and look forward to helping you on your educational journey!

Specialty areas: Coordination of Readmission Review and International Student Experience

Hobbies and interests: I really love to garden and enjoy spending as much of the beautiful Buffalo summers outside growing anything and everything – fruit, vegetables, flowers! I also love spending time with my husband and one year-old daughter and our two rescue dogs.
