Mike Kurdziel, PhD ’01, MS ’88, BS ’86, is a recognized published industry authority in the Type 3 and Type 4 Information Assurance field and various Cyber Security technologies. He has been a member of L3Harris Technologies’ Communication Systems Segment technical staff since 1992 and currently serves as principal fellow and director of the Chief Engineering Systems and Technology Group.

Kurdziel holds 18 patents and has authored/co-authored over 40 publications dealing with military communications applications. Mike received the “Inventor of the Year Award” from the Rochester Intellectual Property Law Association (RIPLA) in 2019. He has been a licensed “Professional Engineer” (License No. 069432) in the State of New York since 1992 and is PMP certified by the Professional Management Institute (PMI).
