New task force to study expansion of U.S.-India university partnership

India West reported that UB President Satish K. Tripathi, professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has been named a co-chair of an Association of American Universities (AAU) task force on expanding higher education partnerships between the United States and India. 

“I look forward to helping cultivate these productive partnerships with our Indian higher education counterparts, and to building on the work we are doing at the University at Buffalo and across the AAU,” Tripathi said. 

The story also mentions that Venu Govindaraju, SUNY Distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, is also a member of the task force.
