No Ultimate Winner Yet For Alexa Prize

I Programmer reported that a team of UB students finished third in the annual Alexa Prize SocialBot Grand Challenge. 

Amazon started the competition that requires teams to build a socialbot, a program that simulates human behavior and is capable of autonomously communicating on social media, in 2016. Rohini Srihari, professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, led the team, which earned $50,000 for its PROTO bot.
