Civil engineering major Brennan Dubuc is involved in undergraduate research in UB’s Smart Structures Research Laboratory, which utilizes advanced technologies to monitor and protect structures. His research experience helped him earn a scholarship from the National Science Foundation, which allowed him to travel to Taipei, Taiwan and attend the 7th Asia-Pacific Summer School on Smart Structures Technology. Brennan is also active with the UB ASCE Student Chapter’s Seismic Design Team and has served as an undergraduate teaching assistant.
