Michael is a structural engineer with Thornton Tomasetti in New York, NY. He has been a part of design teams for small and large projects involving new and retrofit construction, and has designed steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structural systems.
“Everything that I learn in practice builds on what I learned at UB. I am continually impressed by how well I am prepared for what I do from day-to-day, even in areas like timber and masonry design, in which I never had formal training. I am very proud of what I do and I am excited to be contributing to the built environment. The combination of world-class projects; decades of history and experience to learn from and build on; and the respect of management for staff has really impressed me, and has made my first years in the field a very rewarding experience.”
