Education: BFA in Film/Animation, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT); EdM in Higher Education Administration/Student Affairs, University at Buffalo

Academic Path: Growing up, I always wanted to be a Disney animator, which is why I pursued 2D animation at RIT. However, while at RIT, I got bit by the bug of student affairs when I was an orientation leader and resident advisor. I have always enjoyed helping people and being the listening ear for those who needed to talk, and working with college students has been something I have enjoyed since my very first orientation group. I have held positions in residence life and admissions recruitment since graduate school, but found that my true love was talking with students 1:1, building relationships, and helping to guide them on their college journey. I truly love that my academic path led me here to advising!

Specialty Areas: Recruitment and Marketing; SEAS Ambassadors Program

Hobbies and Interests: Spending time with family and friends, painting and drawing, working part-time at a local Painting with a Twist as an art instructor, rooting for the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, and enjoying all things related to Disney, Star Wars and Marvel.
