    Three faculty and four staff members from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences were among the 25 UB colleagues who have been named recipients of the 2019 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence, the most recipients from UB in recent history.

    Mechanical and aerospace engineering faculty member Aaron Estes has received the Vanderhoef Faculty Award for making the extra effort to coach, mentor, and provide support for students.

  • Kwang Oh receives Meyerson mentoring award from UB

    Kwang Oh is one of three UB faculty members to be named a recipient of the 2019 President Emeritus and Mrs. Meyerson Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching and Mentoring, UB’s highest honor given for undergraduate mentoring.

  • UB participates in NSF STEM for All Video Showcase

    Adrienne Decker, assistant professor in the newly formed Department of Engineering Education in UB’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, is participating in the 2019 STEM for All Video Showcase, a virtual poster competition being held this week, from May 13-20.
  • Lewis receives ASME Zwiep Innovation in Education Award

    Kemper Lewis is the recipient of the 2019 ASME Donald N. Zwiep Innovation in Education Award, which recognizes those who have demonstrated exemplary contributions to the advancement of mechanical and multidisciplinary project-based engineering education.

  • Battaglia named Fellow of ASTFE
