Our SEAS Success Summer Bridge Program provides targeted support to improve math readiness and connect first-year engineering and computer science majors with the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the UB community.

  • Date: July 6, 2026 – August 7, 2026
  • Format: virtual and asynchronous; instructors will host Zoom office hours
  • Cost: Free!

Program Benefits

The benefits of the summer bridge program include:

  • Free summer math preparation course led by SEAS faculty
  • Students who complete the course successfully will receive a free textbook for their first-semester math course.  
  • Academic Small Groups support for calculus and chemistry in the first year
  • Provides community connections to SEAS faculty, staff and other first-year students
