Jorge Cueto's Smart Walls will get real-world test on the Atlantic coast

A story in Buffalo Inno reporting that Smart Walls has been chosen by the state of Virginia to participate in the RISE Coastal Community Resilience Challenge notes that Smart Walls founder and chief technical officer Jorge Cueto studied at UB on a Fulbright Scholarship in 2011.

Cueto earned his MS in 2013 and PhD in 2017 in civil engineering.
