Chenhan Xu and Huining Li, both PhD students in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, won the best student paper award at the IEEE International Conference on Health Informatics.
UB’s American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) student club steel bridge and concrete canoe design teams finished near the top in national competitions held during the last few weeks.
Five UB students and one alumnus have received prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) scholarships, along with five honorable mentions recognizing current students and alumni.
