PhD student Nicholas Cucciniello received an Office of Science Graduate Student Research award from the DOE, which will enable him to pursue part of his graduate studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
A paper authored by researchers from the University at Buffalo and the U.S. Air Force received the Best Paper Award in Mechanics and Materials Systems from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers' Smart Materials, Adaptive Structures and Intelligent Systems division.
