The 2016-2017 academic year holds the record for the largest number of graduating students at UB’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in history, a testament to the school’s increasingly renowned international reputation.
Now its third year, the Senior Design Expo featured more than 120 industry sponsored or self-defined engineering projects presented by students in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Four UB students are competing on the upcoming season of “Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge,” the hit NBC competition series featuring a mile-long obstacle course filled with mud, water and fire.
Seamus Lombardo, an undergraduate aerospace engineering major, earned third place in the Student Competition at the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) Symposium on Small Satellites, held in Berlin, Germany.
