Wakil Pranto, a senior in the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering, has been selected by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) as one of “10 New Faces of Civil Engineering” in the college category.
Extending the battery life of drones and using AI to assess damaged bridges are just a few of the research topics that doctoral students from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences will present at this year’s Three Minute Thesis Competition.
“We were able to develop a methodology to collect data that helps structural engineers define the design fuel load,” says Esther Saula, a junior civil engineering student.
