Twenty-five UB students will receive $25,000 in scholarship and internship support through fellowship program made possible by the Prentice Family Foundation.
On Friday, May 19, UB’s School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) welcomed a Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering (CSEE) alumna as the keynote speaker for its graduate commencement ceremony.
The award honors outstanding CSTEP research mentors who have been involved in mentoring, supervising and advising undergraduate researchers, and have impacted students’ academic and professional careers.
Three of the eight UB faculty members to be named recipients of the 2017 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence are part of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
The 2016-2017 academic year holds the record for the largest number of graduating students at UB’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in history, a testament to the school’s increasingly renowned international reputation.
Now its third year, the Senior Design Expo featured more than 120 industry sponsored or self-defined engineering projects presented by students in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
