An article in The Buffalo News reports that the newly passed state budget includes capital funding for a new UB engineering and applied sciences building.

Buffalo Business First reported on plans to construct a new building for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences on UB’s North Campus. Gov. Kathy Hochul announced state funding for the project in her State of the State address earlier this month.

Buffalo Business First quoted Kemper Lewis, dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and Carl Lund, chair of the school’s Department of Engineering Education, in a story about engineering education during the pandemic.
