Using smartphone photos as fingerprints could help fight identity theft

New Atlas reports that Kui Ren, SUNY Empire Innovation Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, and a team of researchers, have discovered how to identify smartphones by analyzing just a single photo taken by the device.
