An article in Business First reports a total of 180 people from 26 countries enrolled in the first three UB massive open online courses (MOOC) aimed at using data to support manufacturing operations, and notes the effort at UB has been led by the business outreach center of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and UB’s Center for Industrial Effectiveness.
