Faculty experts Albert Titus, professor and chair of biomedical engineering, and Josep Jornet, assistant professor of electrical engineering, talk tech with IEEE Spectrum about it wish list for new technologies.

Every year, the U.S. Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office puts out a “Broad Agency Announcement” that describes technologies that it wishes it could purchase, but which don't yet exist. It's a sort of to-do list for technologists and engineers, and it can turbocharge research in these areas. Titus and Jornet offer their insights on miniature transmitters for a wide variety of applicatioins.
