New chairs have been named for industrial and systems engineering, computer science and engineering, and chemical and biological engineering, as well as new heads for academic affairs and research.

Lewis has been elected to serve as a director on the American Society for Engineering Education’s Engineering Deans Council Executive Board.

Krishna Rajan has been named a 2024 fellow of ASM International for his innovative work in the field of materials informatics.

The University at Buffalo’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences ranked No. 57 nationwide and No. 31 among public universities in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Graduate Schools rankings.

Andrew Schultz, associate professor of research in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, received a 2024 Digital Accessibility Advocate Award from the UB Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
