UB, partners awarded $2.8 million semiconductor research grant to improve nation’s power grid

A UB research team, led by Uttam Singisetti has been awarded a $2.8 million semiconductor grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to advance semiconductor technology that will modernize the nation’s power grid, helping to prevent blackouts and make electricity more efficient. Energy CentralPower Electronics World and Compound Semiconductor also reported on the grant.
