Spectroscopy Europe reported on new research led by Peter Q. Liu, assistant professor of electrical engineering, whose team has developed a tiny, reusable sensing chip that holds potential for use in point-of-care medical tests.

The researchers will continue to refine the sensor with the goal of using it for bioanalytical sensing and medical diagnostics applications, such as sensing biomarkers linked to certain diseases.
