Principal Engineering Fellow, Raytheon Intelligence and Space (Retired)
Mark Santoro is a retired Principal Engineering Fellow who most recently served in the Hardware Engineering Center at Raytheon Intelligence and Space. Over the course of his distinguished career, he developed exceptionally deep and varied expertise spanning systems engineering, submicron digital and mixed signal ASIC design, and technical program leadership. His work ranged from founding startups and consulting firms to holding key leadership roles at several of the industry's most respected companies.
Santoro led program teams and contributed to the design of systems across diverse domains—including commercial communication, finance, security, military radar, and GPS. Notably, he served as director and chief engineer of the Modernized GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Inc 2 Miniature Serial Interface programs and as director of ASIC Technology for the Resilient Navigation & Recon Systems business area.
He joined the Dean's Advisory Council in 2020 and continues to share his expertise in an advisory capacity.
