Research Interests

My research focuses on how fundamental beliefs about knowledge and knowing create barriers to learning and collaborations within engineering. I develop and use innovative research methods that allow for robust and deep investigations of constructs such as epistemic thinking, identity, and agency. I am also passionate about using fundamental research to inform classroom and education innovations.
