To create models, develop solutions strategies and implement processes to solve a variety of problems in the domains of Mathematical Programming and Optimization as well as Operations Research and Information Fusion.

More specifically, to design and analyze exact (algorithmic) and approximate (heuristic) methods to solve large-scale engineering problems which arise in areas such as high-level fusion applications in situational awareness, impact assessment, and process refinement.
