Join members of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences community at the SEAS Graduate Welcome Orientation and Networking Reception & Resource Fair. We invite you to an afternoon of networking, engaging programming, and professional development opportunities designed to help you get acclimated, connect with peers and faculty, and explore the many resources available at UB and in the surrounding community.

This is a mandatory event for all new SEAS graduate students. Light food and refreshments will be served.

Please note that the networking reception will be the final opportunity to pick up your Fall 2026 SEAS welcome gift!

My Internship was a challenging and enjoyable experience which helped me to put my academic knowledge into actual practice. Technical skills can be learnt at class but the organizational skills can be learnt only when we start practicing it in the real world. The pandemic tested my abilities as a Supply Chain Engineer and brought me out of my comfort zone. Thanks to UB and STL faculty for their continuous motivation and support, which was much required during these hard times.
