Students visited Tintern Abbey, founded in 1131 on the banks of the River Wye. The visit was part of UB’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences - Swansea Study Abroad program.
Tintern Abbey is the was the first Cistercian foundation in Wales, and only the second in Britain (after Waverley Abbey).
The Mumbles is located on the western edge of Swansea Bay on the southern coast of Wales.
