Guitar-tech startup takes home Panasci prize

An article in Business First reports a startup company that integrates digital sound effects directly into guitars has won UB’s Henry A. Panasci Jr. Technology Entrepreneurship Competition, and will receive a $25,000 cash grant and in-kind services such as office space and mentorship.

The article notes that the winners are Ryan Jaquin and Shane Nolan, both of whom are dual electrical engineering and MBA students, and Alex Schwartz, who earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from UB.
