Welcome Weekend is the official kick-off to the fall semester for new students. During Welcome Weekend, you will prepare for academics at UB, explore campus and SEAS resources, and connect with other students.
Launch into the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) and the campus we call home. You will begin your day at 1:00 p.m. with your academic department. Then, head over to the Party in the Plaza from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to enjoy ice cream and activities. Meet SEAS student club representatives, faculty and staff, learn about different resources, explore different departments and offices from on campus. Meet our SEAS Ambassadors for a tour of the SEAS academic buildings.

Meet with your department, meet key department faculty and staff and learn about exciting opportunities students can pursue like research, internships and student clubs.

It is Party in the Plaza time. Come to Grace Plaza and enjoy ice cream, refreshments and activities, and meet SEAS student club representatives, faculty and staff. This is your opportunity to learn about different resources, explore your department, and meet with members of the SEAS community. Be on the lookout for anyone in an "Ask Me" shirt!
