UB's Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering recognized outstanding student achievements at its inaugural undergraduate student awards ceremony held on May 9, 2017.
Professor and Chair Kemper Lewis greeted the ceremony attendees with some opening remarks before presenting the awards.
Mara Boardman, a junior in aerospace engineering, received the Distinguished Leadership Award.
Alberto Padovan, a senior in aerospace engineering, received the Undergraduate Researcher Award.
Akshay Sivadas, a senior in mechanical engineering, received the Young Professional Award. Also shown is Timothy Leyh, TCIE executive director.
Walker Gosrich, a junior in mechanical engineering, received the Humanitarian Award.
Seamus Lombardo, a junior in aerospace engineering, received The Chair’s Award.
