The SEAS 360° Diversity and Inclusion for Engineers micro-credential provides an opportunity for students in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences to develop knowledge, understanding, and awareness of issues in diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM. Through a series of workshops and assignments you will recognize how diverse teams are stronger and more effective at solving the kinds of complex problems that are the lifeblood of the engineering profession, and how having multiple points of view, approaches and skill sets, allows a better, more efficient and faster solutions to engineering’s grand challenges.
This micro-credential program is designed for undergraduate and graduate students in the UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). However, UB students from other disciplines and non-UB students are also encouraged to participate in the program. Interested students must:
