The data science in engineering micro-credential program provides basic training in data science practice and communications.
You will have the opportunity to engage in project-based learning, experiential learning, and integrative learning within a curriculum that weaves together introductory data science concepts, data science communications and visualization concepts, and professional competencies. This credit-bearing program is open to undergraduate students.
This micro-credential program is designed for undergraduate engineering majors at UB. However, undergraduate students from other majors at UB are welcome to participate in the program. Interested students must:

Upon completion of the program, students will be awarded a UB–issued digital badge through Credly and the program will be noted on your academic transcript. Student can apply for the micro-credential in Data Science in Engineering online through the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences by submitting a Major/Minor Change Application form.
