Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to sophomores and juniors who have outstanding potential and intend to pursue advanced degrees in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

The program offers grants for students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies or credit-bearing, career-oriented internships abroad. Such international exchange is intended to better prepare U.S. students to assume significant roles in an increasingly global economy and interdependent world.

Critical Language Scholarship

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by the Council of American Overseas Research Centers, this award offers intensive summer language institutes overseas in eleven critical need foreign languages. The Critical Language Scholarship Program is part of the National Security Language Initiative, a U.S. government interagency effort to expand dramatically the number of Americans studying and mastering critical need foreign languages.
