Training

Learn about the various trainings required by New York state, and how to enroll.

Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

New York State requires every employer to ensure that all employees complete sexual harassment prevention training on an annual basis. The requirement applies to all employees, regardless of classification or funding source. This year’s deadline for completing the training is December 15, 2022.

UB’s office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion(EDI) offers in-person live training sessions, as well as an online program that meets all New York State requirements and can be accessed through UB Learns (instructions below). SEAS will host one in-person session in October and one in-person session in November that employees can attend to satisfy this requirement. We will send an email prior to the training sessions providing details. Many departments also schedule their training sessions in conjunction with a department meeting.
