Wil Nagengast, a civil engineering senior, is an active member of the UB Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Nagengast has participated on ASCE’s Steel Bridge Design Team, which placed fourth overall in the 2015 National Student Steel Bridge Competition. A member of the University Honors College, he has received scholarships from the Association for Bridge Construction and Design of Western New York and the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York. He is currently a structures intern at Kiewit, one of North America’s largest construction companies.
