Now more than ever, students across engineering disciplines are seizing opportunities in manufacturing related careers.
With the expansion of the manufacturing enterprise and advancements in technology, there is increased demand for workers skilled in the methods, processes and technologies related to the analysis and design of manufacturing systems. Our minor in manufacturing will prepare you to communicate effectively, enable you to apply appropriate theories and methods, and empower you to solve manufacturing problems and improve system designs.
Non-SEAS students who wish to take courses for the Manufacturing Minor can request registration via the Force Registration Form in the SEAS Portal.
Students who wish to minor in Manufacturing must be in good academic standing in a SEAS major or satisfy the core course requirement for admission to a SEAS major. Students must also have:
