2025 National Academy of Engineering (NAE) inductee Maria Lehman has joined the UB Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
Mohan Akella (MS ’03, PhD ‘05) will return to the University at Buffalo to accept the Dean’s Award for Achievement and address the class of 2025.
Robert E. Barnes, a UB alumnus who was a professor and administrator in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences for more than 30 years, died on Nov. 21 at his home in Amherst.
Dorothy Price made history in 1949 when she became the first woman to earn an engineering degree from the University at Buffalo.
The three add to a long list of alumni who currently hold prominent positions at academic institutions.
