Students in the Advanced Manufacturing certificate program take courses with graduate faculty members in Industrial and Systems Engineering or Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and have access to state-of-the-art facilities and interaction with UB’s Community of Excellence in Sustainable Manufacturing and Advanced Robotic Technologies (SMART).
The Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Advanced Certificate focuses on strengthening the pool of qualified OSH professionals in New York State. The program aims to meet industry needs by providing multidisciplinary training that includes coursework, projects, and research in safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and epidemiology.
The Quality Engineering micro-credential serves the critical needs of students who are determined to pursue a career on improving quality of products and service in various industries, military and government agencies. All of these organizations, regardless of their business or operations, inevitably need quality improvement.
