How To Record the Holiday

The State has not designated an alternate day of observance for July 4.

State employees who are eligible to earn holiday time will receive equivalent compensatory time off for the holiday.
State classified employees who are eligible to earn holiday time that are scheduled to work on Saturdays and work the July 4th holiday will earn the holiday accrual or will receive holiday pay depending on their holiday waiver election.
Research Foundation employees who are eligible to earn holidays shall receive one floating holiday leave credit based on their FTE.
