    We offer separate undergraduate programs in civil engineering and environmental engineering, as well as graduate programs in a variety of specialties. We are world leaders in earthquake engineering.

    Our environmental program is growing rapidly, and we offer an accredited BS degree. We have annual research expenditures in the range of $5-10 million.

    As one of the broadest of the engineering disciplines, mechanical engineers are involved in research and development, design, manufacturing, and technical sales of a variety of products.

    Aerospace engineering includes the traditional aeronautics and astronautics applications (subsonic and supersonic aircraft, satellites, space shuttle, space station, etc.), as well as aerospace-related component development (design of structures, devices, and instruments) and vehicle and propulsion system design.
