UB CBE alumnus Panagiotis Mistriotis, PhD 2016, has received a Career Development Award from the American Heart Association (AHA), to study vascular cell behavior inside pathophysiologically-relevant confined microenvironments.
Matt Kahn, BS 1998, quickly found his wife, best friends and passion for engineering during his time at UB. Now, not only has Buffalo become his home, but he and his co-founder, Corey Catalano, have crafted a name in beer that all the locals know.
UB CBE alumnus Jayant Singh, MS 2002, PhD 2005 has been awarded the Herdillia Award For “Excellence in Basic Research in Chemical Engineering” by the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE). He has also been elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI). NASI is the oldest science academy of India.
Ajinkya spent 35 years in reaction engineering at Exxon and currently serves on the advisory board for the department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at UB.
UB CBE alumnus Mingfu Chen, MS 2015 from the Blaine Pfeifer research group, is responsible for the execution of advancing diagnostic biosensor research at Boston University (BU), where he now works as a biomedical engineer.
