AIChE Buffalo Student Chapter

CBE undergraduate students at 2019 AIChE ChemE Car Competition.

The student chapter of UB CBE’s American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) prepares undergraduate students for the real world by fostering connections with future employers. They do so by presenting a speaker series where students can visit with and learn from UB CBE alums, and they can go on local company plant tours each month.

The AIChE student chapter also attends the national and regional AIChE conferences, competes in the Cheme-E car competition, and hosts social events to again connect students and colleagues, along with professional development workshops to ready participants for their future career.
