What GPA do I need to be accepted?

The minimum undergraduate GPA for admission to our MS program is 3.0 and 3.25 for admission to our PhD program directly after bachelor's degree.

What GRE Score do I need to be accepted?

We do not have any minimum GRE score requirement for admission into our program, however, the average GRE score of students admitted to our graduate program is approximately 311 (GRE V+Q) in the last three years and most funded students are substantially higher.

I've submitted my official test scores, but they are not appearing in my Gradmit application. Why not?

The Gradmit system does not always link to test scores submissions, but as long as they have been sent to the correct Institution Code 2925, we will have access to your scores.

When do I need to submit my financial documents if I'm an International student?

This is not necessary to submit until you have been officially accepted into the program. You will receive further directions upon acceptance.

How do I check the status of my I-20?

Please visit the Graduate School website.

I'm a current UB student, do I need to submit my official transcript?

No, you do not.
