Students who concentrate in this area have the flexibility to take a range of preferred ISE courses that lead to the broad knowledge needed to succeed in an Industrial Engineering career.
MS students complete their degree by taking 10 courses. Students take a minimum of seven IE courses, plus three additional courses which can be either IE or from other departments such as Mathematics or Management (with advisor approval). Students can customize their degree by choosing IE courses which focus on quality, production systems, or industrial ergonomics.
With the all-course option, students can take five courses per semester and graduate in one academic year. This minimizes time away from an existing job as well as provides a concentrated immersion experience in the graduate program.
